I’m lucky enough to be a part of the blog tour for Perfect Liars, a book I was drawn to because of its intriguing plot
Three school friends are reunited at a dinner party, with news to share, worries to soothe and secrets to keep. But the evening won’t end well for one of the women as they teeter ever closer to revealing a secret that the friends have managed to keep secret ever since leaving boarding school.
Perfect Liars moves between time periods and perspectives to show the three friends as they were and as they now are. Fantastically written, Reid gives voice to three highly unique women, each with their own strong personalities, desires, quirks and motives.
The dialogue is excellently written, avoiding cliche and instead creating women and girls who are believable. The plot is fast paced the pithy, this is an utterly unputdownable read that is perfect for devouring in one sitting.
I can’t wait to share this novel with friends and for us all to share in what is one of the most shocking endings I’ve read so far this year.
