OOTD and How To Dress For the Changeable British Summer

Hi guys,

Today is a sunny but windy day in Newcastle and I wanted to wear something feminine and summery, but I knew a summer dress would mean I was shivering for half of the day. Instead I went for these beautiful printed culottes from Warehouse and an old favourite, open knit white jumper from Next. This jumper must be six or seven years old but it is always perfect for summer. Worn over a bikini and shorts for holiday evenings, or with jeans and cami for walking in the tentative British sunshine, this is a really versatile piece of knitwear.

For accessories I wore my Dune cross body bag and gladiator sandals. I wore these really unique, tortoiseshell round sunglasses from Topshop and my constellation earrings from Asos. For hair I went for a simple bun and I kept my makeup very natural with just a touch of foundation, blush and mascara. I’m definitely wearing less makeup these days!

I hope you like the look! Thanks for stopping by.
